Earlier this week, we discussed the role of schools in recognizing and responding to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) through trauma-informed care (TIC) approach. While TIC is primarily an approach advocated in health care, it is increasingly being recognized as a critical pathway to address and mitigate trauma and the health effects of trauma in school settings.
