Mitochondrial Medicine Focus Drives NeuroVive Orphan Ambitions

Underpinned by a profound understanding of genetic mitochondrial disorders, Swedish biotech NeuroVive Pharmaceutical AB is pursuing a two-pronged orphan and speciality pharma approach. According to CEO Erik Kinnman, while the company intends to develop orphan drugs to treat rare genetic mitochondrial disorders, it is looking for partners for its NASH and hepatocellular cancer programs. NeuroVive is committed to the discovery and development of medicines that preserve mitochondrial integrity and function in areas of unmet medical need.
