Each year, in recognition of Girls’ Day in Austria, Sandoz invites young women to its Anti-Infectives site in Kundl, Austria, where they have the opportunity to meet scientists and gain hands-on experience in Sandoz laboratories as well as in the technical areas of the pharmaceutical industry.

The Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Sh. Co. (EPHARM) is a pioneer in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry of Ethiopia. It is now 52 years old. It had been the only pharmaceutical manufacturer for more than 36 years in the country. It’s headquarter is located in Nifas Silk Lafto subcity, Addis Ababa. EPHARM is currently producing different dosage forms, which makes it peculiar from many of the local pharmaceutical manufacturers. EPHARM has been producing high quality and affordable medicine that have addressed the critical health problems of the Ethiopian people for more than fifty years.
