The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is on an aggressive mode to increase in the investment of work force for the pharmaceutical sector. New FIP global survey shows clear contribution of pharmacy to health beyond dispensing. Initiatives promoting pharmacists’ value in cancer screening, drug safety and new medicines counselling win this year’s FIP awards. There is also data depicting progress in pharmacy workforce development, said Dr Carmen Peña, president of FIP.
